My project for 2009. Starting from Jan 2009 I will be building a 300 mm (12″) Newtonian reflector telescope. Initially it will have a dobsonian mount. Later it will get an equatorial mount and photography accessories. There will also be a clock drive to track the targets. It’s a big project and it will take months. The pages and blogs below will track its progress and have design guides for other people who want to build their own telescopes. I am even going to gring the mirror myself.
